You'll want a cow, a goat, a rabbit, a pig, a chicken (brown or white is fine), and a duck. Contruct a barn and a coop, and their upgrades.Fishing: Sunfish (last chance), Shad (also possible in fall), Sturgeon (also possible in winter), Tuna (also possible in winter), Red Snapper (also possible in fall), Tilapia (also possible in fall), Pufferfish.Get a fiddlehead fern from the secret forest. Forage: Complete the summer forage bundle.Plan your farm around their locations so you can drop them in. You ideally want steel everything by season end. Upgrade your other tools for energy efficiency. Mining: Get a steel axe, so you can grab a Fiddlehead Fern.Plant a tomato, hot pepper, sunflower, and poppy. Plant 1 wheat (you'll wind up with more than you need for the bundle, but accidents happen). Plant a bunch of melons with fertilizer until you get 5 gold stars. Crops: Focus on blueberries for the cash.Upgrade your backpack if you can, otherwise wait until Summer.I'm ignoring strawberries here - they're great if the timing syncs up, but you have a lot to do, and you don't want to focus too much on farming and timing your gold stash to the festival.Try to get foraging level 4 by spring 15 in order to maximize your salmonberry haul.Any other fruits from the Artisan Bundle are a bonus. Take the fruit bat cave option, in order to get an Apricot and/or Cherry.Fishing: Sunfish (also possible in summer), Shad (also possible in summer and fall), Sardine (also possible in fall and winter), Eel (also possible in fall).Forage: Get the spring forage bundle complete.You might not be able to afford all the upgrades, but you'll want the materials on-hand. ![]() Also work on a copper axe and watering can. You want to get 6-ish quality sprinklers, so upgrade your pick. Plow the rest into kale and potatoes for gold and farming xp. Crops: Plant your initial parsnips, one green bean, and one cauliflower.These can be grown in the Greenhouse to finish the Winter foraging bundle in Fall! Note from /u/BentFX: If you get a winter root from a fost jelly (mines level 40-79), put it in a seed maker, and you will obtain Winter Seeds.Note: The Nautilus Shell may also be available from the traveling cart. He might give you a Nautilus Shell in the mail, which can help a lot. Give him artisan goods, flowers, vegetables, maple syrup, or foraged minerals twice a week, if you can. Neglect your social life! Don't go to town events! This is a speedrun, not a walk in the park.Fishing: Catch a Largemouth Bass, Carp, Bullhead, Bream, Ghostfish, Sandfish, Chub, and Woodskip.Make a preserves jar (reward for the Quality Crops Bundle).Collect red and purple mushrooms from the mines.You'll have to get a red cabbage from the traveling cart to win! ![]() Below, I've broken down the items that you can obtain any time, and the season-specific goals. If you luck out and get an item from the traveling cart, that's a big bonus. Once you've caught the fish for your season, only fish when you need cash. Stop checking crab pots once you've gotten the bundle. That means selling your cow after you've gotten a large milk and a cheese. Once an objective is completed, time is best spent elsewhere. You can't think like a regular farmer - you aren't here to build a profit machine, although you do need to profit. Overall, this seems pretty challenging for 1-player.
